My PC Fails to Recognize iTunes File Extension or ITL
iTunes is used by the users specially to transfer iPhone, iPad, iPod data to PC. For this ITL file extension is used that supports iTunes working. But sometimes some operating system fails to recognize this file extension. The iTunes file extension consists of list of entire songs that were created by the user, the songs rating done by user and user comments.

While upgrading if you do not face any problem then you can safely remove the “previous iTunes library” because it will be of no use in future. Registry files are also responsible for recognizing all file extension in your computer and determine which program should run it. Due to this reason PC Fail to recognize .itl file extension.
