Unable to Open Docx File: Word 2007 Error
The files that are stored in the Microsoft Office 2007 is divided in document parts . Each of the part are helpful to define the part of overall file contents. With this it becomes easy for the user to create and edit Word 2007 document. These files are saved with .docx file extension. But sometimes due to virus attack, unexpected system shutdown, application faults and other similar causes, file corruption could be application faults, network errors user encounter corruption problem. And due to this reason the the .docx not opening issue arises.

"The Office Open XML File xxxxx.docx cannot be opened because there are problems with the content."
In this situation xxxx represents name of Word 2007 document. Further, when you click Details of the error message, you get another error:
"The file is corrupt and cannot be opened."
Or
"Word found unreadable content. Do you want to recover the contents of this document, click yes."
Due to corruption user Can't open docx and due to this many system related problem arises, stored data gets deleted so to resolve these error message, and to restore the deleted data user can follow the steps as mentioned below:
- Open the document with 'Open and Repair' feature. To carry out this, click Microsoft Office Button and open the document.
- Try saving the document as HTML, TXT or a word processing application format.
- Create a new document and try copying all the contents of the file to it, leaving the last paragraph mark.
- Use your recent file backup and restore the damaged document
